Days ago, a Twitter user pointed out that it is impossible to be a feminist and a Chrsitian at the same time since the Bible places men above women. But a Nigerian lawyer does not agree and has countered the argument with reason.

According to Ifeoma Malo, a Nigerian lawyer who served as senior technical adviser on energy policies to the former Nigerian Minister of Power, the argument does not hold water.

She pointed out that it was the same argument white slave masters used in enslaving black people, by using verses in the Bible that promotes slavery. She went on to say that saying you can't be feminist and a Christian is same as saying you can't be a black man and not be a slave.
