Liverpool legend, Steve Nicol has expressed his disappointment with Manchester United Midfielder, Paul Pogba, who once again resurrected talks of a possible exit from the Red Devils.

25-year-old Pogba who had an impressive World Cup has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona.

Enduring a rocky relationship with Jose Mourinho, the star who is currently on international duty has not stopped adding fuel to the fire.

“There was a lot of talk (about a move to Barca), but it was just like that," he told Sky Sports Germany.

“I’m under contract in Manchester. My future is currently in Manchester, I still have a contract."

And when asked about his relationship with Mourinho, Pogba admitted it was strictly professional.

He added: “We have a pure coach-player relationship, that’s right.

“One thing I can assure you, I will always give 100%. No matter which coach I always give everything for United – I cannot say more.”

The comments from the former Juventus player didn't sit well with Liverpool legend Steve Nicol who said, "What is he doing? As if there weren't enough problems at United already. 

"Why is a player at United throwing fuel on the fire? Why is he saying that?

"Does he want Mourinho gone? Because that sounds like what he is doing to me."
