Marriage is good. God instituted it, the Devil hates it and many times men misuse it and the God-set objectives are defeated. It is not a secret nor an overstatement to say that 60-70% of the problems in the church today are marriage –related. This ranges from singles to the married.
Some sisters remain singles till today because of their pride, untamed tongue, and some other character weaknesses that broke up their former relationships. Some of those who are married are not obeying the principles that can ensure a happy marriage. An unsubmissive, arrogant, critical, suspicious, ungrateful, hostile woman would blame the devil for the tension in her marriage, while an uncaring and unfaithful man laments the frequent conflicts he experiences in his relationship. All the above provide access roads to desperate marriage killers. Most home crisis are initiated by human beings and consolidated by the devil.
No wonder Apostle paul wrote:
Never give place (an opportunity) to the Devil. ( Eph.4:27.)
