Sky Sports have quoted Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes as calling the decision ‘ridiculous’, in a typical show of pettiness from Cristiano Ronaldo and everyone around him.

The Portugal international is undoubtedly one of the finest players ever to play the game, though he has long had a reputation for being a bit of a brat as well.
He was earlier described as an egoist by Luka Modric National team head coach.

Some would call that an obsessive desire to win, but it can also make him a bit of a sore loser, which is off-putting in comparison to the way Lionel Messi conducts himself in that far calmer and more professional manner.
