Presently most young school leavers find it very hard to make a good career choice some get influenced by what I call the four Ps which are parents, peers,pride and pretence some lack the intellectual and personal ability to do well in some course of study,that's why we have many orators who would have made good journalist battling with strange courses in medicine and engineering all in the race to fit in .
not trying to disregard the dreams of
anyone,but we all no that not everyone can be a doctor,engineer,banker etc.
NOW THE CATEGORIES.

1 THE MATHIMATICALLY GIFTED.there are people who just find learning maths easy while there are others who have to try harder before they grasp that same concept. this category is in two the first set are people who are good in maths but not so good in other sciences.this set are advised to go for maths and it allied social courses like banking,economics, statistics mathematics but not courses that involve an understanding of other sciences because this is were they would excel.the second category are those who are good at maths coupled with ingenuity in one or more of the science e.g computer ingenuity, excellency in architecture (construction)inventing as a talent and many more.they should either go into the original field of study like physics, chemistry or its application engineering and architecture.

2)THE MEDICAL ORIENTED.medicine and its allied courses are special courses and anyone who wants to study this course must discipline himself ,but this doesn't make them the smartest set of people.such people are all rounders most of the time but at times they don't tend to have a grounded desire as the naturally gifted but have a high persistence of vision.what do I mean ? this refers to the ability to store information for long period of time,everyone are born with this. but it is destroyed by lack of studying and regained by continuous studying, but there are people who regain theirs regardless of whether they study or not. anyone planing to read medicine must love reading and must also love what he is reading.we'll stop here for now
