Boko Haram insurgents , on Saturday , reportedly overran troops of the Nigerian Army attached to
Operation Lafiya Dole and displaced residents of Gudumbali town in the Guzamala Local Government Area of Borno State.

Some residents, who escaped from the affected community, explained that the terrorists captured the community after invading the areas in large numbers and shooting sporadically , sending thousands of residents fleeing.
