I was posted to a local government in Taraba state. When I got there, I wasn't so surprised at the number of Maths teachers in the school (I experienced something even worse at the secondary school I graduated from); only two. When all the teachers introduced themselves, only two teachers took mathematics. The first was a corper while the other staff took the course with other science courses. You can imagine a school where SS 1 students taking the course alone numbered 150. I would like a teaching appointment with the state. Is there any where I can go about it? Teaching appointment in Taraba Public school. Anyone know the pay for new entry?
