LAGOS, September 11- Ovation Publisher Dele Momodu, has reported via twitter that Chief Femi Otedola will be the people’s Democratic Party’s gubernatorial candidate for Lagos state.

Dele Momodu’s tweet;

“Breaking news: Lagos 2019 promises to be interesting. PDP offers Femi Otedola governorship ticket. He’s accepted and personally confirmed to The Boss newspaper…”

This means Chief Otedola will be contesting Lagos states governorship election against the incumbent governor, chief Akinwunmi Ambode who is seeking a re-election on the All Progressive Congress Platform (APC).

This news comes amidst news report that APC national leader, Chief Bola Tinubu may be withdrawing his support for governor Ambode in favour of Mr. Jide Sanyaolu Sanwonolu, who has wide support among the Lagos state APC chairmen.
