The immediate past national publicity secretary of the APC, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, has declared his intention to contest for the 2019 governorship position in Kwara State on the platform of the PDP.
Abdullahi, who stated this at a ceremony in Ilorin, yesterday, said his administration would be pro-youth.
He said part of his goals as governor is to empower youth in the state for growth, competitiveness and economic transformation.
Abdullahi, who dismissed arguments by opponents on the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki’s leadership style, said Saraki had rather empowered young people from poor background like him, who ordinarily would not have had a shot at public office.
