The gallant troops of 145 Battalion, Operation LAFIYA DOLE located at the northern part of Borno Stated dazed Boko Haram terrorists that made the mistake of attacking the location on12th September 2018. The gallant neutralised countless terrorist and damaged their weapons and equipment. The resilient troops are on hot pursuit of the remaining terrorists that may have escaped.

The incident comes less than a week after Boko Haram fighters struck at a military location in Gudumbali, Guzamala local government area.

Some witnesses said soldiers were killed in the attack but the army denied losing anyone.

In its renewed campaign of violence, the insurgents have been carrying out attacks on military locations in the north-east.

Commenting on this Ahmad Salkida, a journalist known to have access to the leadership of the sect, said Boko Haram had been overrunning military formations and piling up arms for something “big”.

“The insurgents are busy piling up arms, by overrunning one military base, after another, for something “big” and what could that be?” he had tweeted last week.

Also we are bit limited with top notch equipment. If we had access to satellite imagery, we would be able to pin point their locations and gatherings. That is one huge edge advanced nations like USA have that we don't .

War is all about strategy and never showing any signs of weakness. Once an Army is psychologically down that is half of the war won by the enemy.

For example an investigative journalist on ground in Gudumbali said no single life was lost of either indigene or soldier during that attack.

She was live on ground and called the earlier media reports sensational reporting.

Is if economically viable to just have a satellite for military purposes or for combined use?

Weapons grade military hardware isn't cheap. The more modern the more expensive.

I honestly don't think boko haram are that much of a threat as they used to be thanks to weapons upgrades gotten by pmb.

The only way to end this senseless and callous war is for the following to happen:

1. Borno elders to call their children to order

2. Buhary should speak to his people’s foot soldiers in the language they understand being their negotiator.

3. Gen. Mohomodu Buhary should name the Boko Haram sponsors as promised.

No government or military can bring terrorism down to zero, they can only be decimated or reduced. Boko Haram has come to stay in Nigeria.

Even if you vove them the very best nothing wlll happen. Truth is they lack the discipline anf professionalism to see a campaign to the end. Thos lack of professionalism is in every sector. Health, defence, education... name one sector that works?
