The Governorship candidate of the APC has stated that debt is good for the development of a State and he will ensure that the State keeps up with its repayment obligations if he becomes Governor. He also stated that while the debts will be faithfully serviced, his government will also be faithful in the payment of full salaries.

He stated this while responding to a question on how his government will manage the debt profile of the State at the Governorship debate holding in Osun State University.
