Very true, most Nigerian youths are not prepared for 9-5 employment talk more of leadership, they have a horrible sense of entitlement and they feel the company was established for the purpose of paying them salaries. They don't have any meaningful skills and are not willing to develop themselves. Quick money is the order of the day. They are only good at giving epic replies on Twitter.
And which experience did obj, utomi and buhari have when they started ruling us?
The old men in power today started holding us to ransom in their youthful years. The Abiola boy is a daft character. Same Abacha that tormented his dad is a god to buhari and when Buhari gets his second term he will put people like the silky abiola boy back to their gutter.

Shut up kwa. Which youth is experienced, able, ready to run this highly divided and very complex country? A country full of people with nothing but criminal and anti-society mindset. Please dont mention idiots like sowrre, Monghalu. .....and all the other zero weights making noise on the sidelines. Just look at davido and starboy, look at the youth governors. ...total disaster

Dude, don't tell people online to shut up because you disagree with their opinion. It is a stupid and immature thing to do.

That been said, the guy you quoted is on point. If you think there's no 30+ youth that is all round smarter than Buhari then you're one of the problems we have in this country.

Hmmm. no comments.

It simply shows that the guy is one of the 'lazy Yoots' Buhari himslef was talking about!
He is bereft of ideas, lacks common sense and is a shame to his father, who was intelligent and erudite.
Anyway, the only thing he got going for him is simply: I am MKO's son but we also know that every family usually have a bastard, maybe this one is Abiola's own.

Say a Big Thank you to Buhari for honoring your father post-humously but dont tell us that is the ONLY REASON he deserves a second term.
Haaba! Your name even shows how stupid you are: Abdul -MUMU-ni.......Serious Mumu ni this one.

The winner of 1993 presidential election, Chief MKO Abiola's son, Abdulmumuni Abiola, has said the country is not ripe for a youth president.

Abiola told journalists at the maiden national youth summit organised by The Zealous Kwara Youths in Ilorin, Kwara State, on Saturday, that though he was hopeful that a youth could become president someday, it was imperative to give President Muhammadu Buhari a second chance, The Punch reports.

He said:

“I do believe that there shall be a time, just like in Canada and France, when we have somebody that is around 30 in power. I don’t just think that time is right. I think there is a reason why Buhari is there and I would want us to be patient to see him through.

We should give him another four years and he will handover power to the youth.

“I do not have anybody else to campaign for. Somebody after 20 years honoured my father and did what other people refused to do, so I am supporting Buhari for a second term.”

The President of the ZKY, Mr John Adegboyega, said it was necessary to sanitise Nigeria of corrupt practises.

Adegboyega added that 2019 was not yet time for a youth to become president.

He said the youth should participate actively in the political process and elect people who would deliver good governance and move the country forward.

What is the authority of this boy - son of MKO Abiola - on the subject of governance or politics? Anyway, I will not blame the Abdul boy because he is shallow minded and he probably never understood the minds of the youth.

If the youths are ready we should start from the grassroots develop and grow,.... Not necessarily from the presidency or governorship positions. Truth be said, what I see on nairaland everyday says the youths are not ready at all,..... such a bunch of ethnic and religious bigots which would support nonsense from their kinsman in power.
I will think the youth are ready when we start putting Nigeria first.

Error of generalization. That's your opinion.

I can as well say, you shld visit villages, towns and communities randomly to see Nigeria elders are not ready to be trusted with power.

guess what? Elders are the ones in power so whether they can be trusted or not (they clearly cant) is irrelevant. BTW I feel Nigerians as a collective are not serious people both young and old.

You sound really intelligent. FROM THE BACK. I can't believe a human not a lower animal like a monkey or chimp actually wrote this.

Genevieve Nnaji is a youth and she's doing exploits. Agbani Darego was a youth when she won Miss World. Your case has no backing. You're just being a slowpoke purposely.

Listen or read up on what Moghalu has to offer before you cast him down. Kingsley Moghalu is a real political economist, former United Nations official for about 11 years. Also a professor of Practice in International Business and Public Policy at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and his campaign is one that is sellable, realisable and tackles all these dumb archaic setback you mentioned in complexity or division. Look him up.

I'm not surprised this came from a Yoruba. Buhari exposed alot about the Yorubas. At least that is something I can say was the positive of this failed test with Buhari. The Yorubas are very greedy people. They don't care how much Buhari have damaged and destroyed the country. They only care about their son taking over after him. A very greedy people.

Your unprepareness can't be defined as a common phenomenon among Nigerian youths.Simply put, if you're not prepared now that doesn't mean that every youth is not prepared.
