It ended one year ago and we dated for three good years..Three years of bliss, fun, playing together and doing almost all things together. He understands me and always let me have my way..kai,I am very stubborn and I know that..though I was the one that destroyed the relationship with my two hands,I just have to let go because i was the career type and also he had trust issues with me..imagine having a boyfriend and not talking for months, that was how our relationship was..I miss him sha and I loved him..I never cheated on him throughout the three years we dated..After we broke up,I tried dating again but I couldn't because there is no one that can fit the lacuna he left..Till today my friends still say I'm not over him yet..Yes,I'm not..Now I just read and read and read and try to forget about relationship now..My Career comes first..Will be a PhD holder soon..I'm sure he is also pursing his dream anywhere he is..

Oyenike01:
Almost 2years now , it lasted for 5years, dude said he needed space, I refused and it looked like I wasn't understanding, I don't believe in space... turned out there was a new girl, I cried almost everyday, still cried this year sef, it shook me, my life has never been the same, I was too used to him, each time I saw his picture with the girl, my life would stand still, it took the grace of God not to pull the stunt the lady in acrimony pulled, I sacrificed a lot for that relationship, it broke me.I am better now... funny part is I'm still a firm believer in love... I still never get sense.
Very profound @Oyenike. A young woman and the man she's seeing should define their relationship ASAP. 6 months minimum, to 1 year 6 months max is enough for a guy to propose, i.e., if he owns a business, investments, or has a day job! A LONGER proposal time frame leads to BOREDOM for most men... especially if "very frequent sex" without commitment is involved. A lot of those campus relationships also tend to fail on or before graduation. Guys tend to go for younger females just so they can plan and make money. Ladies should create income streams for themselves, and date older men too (5 to 20 years older) and events will pan out right. Cheers. wink
