Strain In eyes
Aches in my body
Pain in my skin

Esther calls
Esther calls with a loud cry
Esther calls with a great smile
Her face beaming with ebullience
Her teeth shining like the morning sun
Her hair flowing like River Niger

She yells aloud like a hawk
With a voice that is high pitched
Sopranoed and articulate

Calling out to the worn out
To those who have had a stressful morning
To those who need a nap

The mattresses are well dressed
The pillows are all set
Waiting for a head to shrink them

Esther walks into the room
Her hands that have been manicured
Her enchanting sleep gaze
Sending sleep beams to my eyes
