History has been made as a 300 level female students of the department of SVG becomes the first female speaker of the legislative arm of SUG FUTO

*INAUGURATION OF Members Students Representative Council (MSRC)ELECT, 20th Assembly Student Union Government*

The Inauguration of the MSRC'S ELECT was held at the SUG Resource Centre by 2pm , Thursday 20th,2018.

The Associate Dean of Students Affairs *( Dr.Orji Chikwendu)* Unit talked to the MSRC'S ELECT to work together and matters relating to the School Hostel.

Some SUG Executives were told to pick four(4) MSRCS to go for the position of the SPEAKER , DEPUTY SPEAKER, and CHIP WHIP.

And the voting was done by the MSRC'S, and a winner was emerged successfully each, as SPEAKER,DEPUTY SPEAKER and the CHIEF WHIP.

For the first time in the Federal University Of Technology,Owerri (FUTO) , a female emerged as the *SPEAKER* of the 20th Assembly of the Student Union Government *(SUG)*.


Speaker: *Rt.Hon.Rtr Obi Onyinyechi Favour (Svg)*

Deputy Speaker: *Hon.Okeke Emeka Christain (AST)*

Chief whip: *Hon.Akalonu Bernard Ejike (Geology)*
