Osun Decides: Junaid Mohammed Reacts To Election Results, Predicts APC Position by 5Ebiscoo: 7:56am On Sep 24, 2018
Second Republic lawmaker and northern elder statesman, Dr. Junaid Mohammed, has reacted to the Saturday’s Osun State election, which was declared inconclusive by independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

Juniad in a terse statement said the Osun election showed that the APC-led government was no longer popular among Nigerians “because of the insecurity and economic hardship in the country.”

The former lawmaker said the Osun election was a reminiscent of what might obtain in the 2019 general elections.

The statement reads: “My belief is that the APC has become too arrogant and too reliant on corruption rather than performance to win an election.

“There is a trend emerging in the South-West and that is going to manifest in other parts of the country – from the South to the Middle Belt and to the North – the APC is no longer the predominant party of this country.

“The ridiculous government policies and other misgivings have not given the ruling party any edge in the states. Therefore, 2019 is very open.”

Man is attributing the slide loss to pmb.

No, apc lost because of the incumbent woes. If not for pmb's popularity, the gap will be as wide as oxford bridge.

No sir they don't grin

Their defeat in 2019 is imminent, the southwest that they claim as a stronghold is up for grabs.

The east can never vote them on any account!

The South south remains a PDP stronghold.

The middle belt will on no account vote them again

The core north which they always claim follows buhari like a cult will now be shared between buhari, kwankwaso, tambuwal.

Preparations are almost complete to send the lifeless one back to daura.

Fayose's fate is gonna befall aregbesola, how could u owe ur workers arrears of unpaid salaries (40+ months) and u expect ur candidate to win an election.

secondly, buhari is not as popular as u think, if he was so popular why was he unable to win the previous election he contested?
the sympathy votes he got in 2015 will be very difficult to by in 2019 because he is just a clueless bigot
