What is Arthritis?
The word "arthritis" means inflammation of joints. The name arthritis come from Greek word "anthron" meaning joint and its meaning inflammation. Arthritis is a chronic disease process. In the early stage of this disease, the whole body is usually involved and one or two joint may completely become deformed.

Forms or types of arthritis

Arthritis assumed or have two different forms or types. They are

1. Osteroarthritis

2. Rheumatoid arthritis

1. Osteoarthritis:

This is a degenerative joint disease which usually occur in the old age. It results from structural changes in the articular cartilage in the joint, usually those which are weight bearing such as the spine and the knee.

Symptoms of osteoarthritis
The main symptoms of osteoarthritis are stiffiness and pains in the joints. The pain usually increase after exercise or a long walk. Other symptoms of osteoarthritis are dry neck, watering eyes, allergies, legs cramps, arteriosclerosis, impairment in the functions of gallbladder and liver disturbance.

Main causes of Osteoarthritis

There are some causes of osteoarthritis, but the known  possible causes are:

malnutrition
Obesity
Continues stressful life
Calcium deficiency
Glandular insufficiency
Shortage of hydrochloric acid

2. Rheumatoid Arthritis

From doctor's perspective, this is a serious disease which affect not only the joints of the fingers, hip, writs, frets and kneel but also the tendons, muscles and other tissues of the body.

Causes of Rheumatoid Arthritis

This disease is due to an inflammatory process of the synovium or lining of the joint accompanied by swelling and finally to deformity.
Rheumatoid arthritis is popularly known as "cooked food disease". It usually developed gradually over several months with persistence pain and stiffness in one or more joints. And finally the whole body is affected.

Symptoms of Rheumatoid Arthritis

There are some symptoms of this type of arthritis. They are

Anemia
Colitis
Constipation
Gallbladder
Disturbance
Low blood pressure
Deformed hand and feet
Causes of Rheumatoid Arthritis
There are some known causes of this malady discovered by medical professional. And they are hormonal imbalance,high stress level, severe fright, infection, shocks and injury. Apart from the above mentioned causes of Rheumatoid arthritis, hereditary factors may also be responsible for the onsets of the disease.
