The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) has mandated all the workers in the 774 local governments across the country to join the nationwide strike scheduled to commence tomorrow, Thursday, September 27, 2018.

This is following the directive issued to all its affiliate unions by the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) to embark on a nationwide 7-day warning strike over the Federal Government’s deliberate failure to conclude negotiation for the new minimum wage...continue...
