When news breaks/emerges, some rush to print. No verification, no questions, nothing.

Others sit back and do what proper journalists ought to do: reach the person(s) involved for clarification/context/confirmation.

It’s the difference between journalism and whatchamacallitism- Tolu Ogunlesi

What is the disgrace there.
Punch and ThisDay were shown the court documents listing Leah's mother name as one of those that instituted the suit.
What if the mum was thereafter pressurized to later deny?
What CNN should have done,if Ogunlesi in his delusion feels they did the "best journalistic" work, was to get in contact with the other co-filers and ask them if they indeed filed the suit.
Besides,CNN didn't report that the claimed lawsuit itself was false.
So if someone is listed in a verified court document as having filed a suit,a journalist can report it first, and if denial now comes up,reports same, not the other way round.
Leah mother,if she claims she is not part of the suit, should sue those that listed her name.
