When most of our tourist centers were not attracted to foreigners

We're not trying to make it attractive to foreigners. IF we Nigerians visit our tourist centers, instead of spending that money to go to Cuba, Spain, London, we would have achieved a major breakthrough in mindset that will also pour over to other things we do. I don't want our country to be one where foreigners come as tourists and the locals don't get to enjoy tourism.

We are all awakening to the beauty that is in Nigeria and I'm seeing a lot more interest that before. There is a growing number of stunning resorts and destinations being built, and it makes me very proud!

This industry is really truly performing below it's maximum potential. With the level of buzz surrounding black and afro centric anything, so many of the successful Africans in diaspora actually wanna learn more about their roots.

We were working on a website for Ile-Ife , thesource.com.ng trying to promote the cultural spots therein and the level of positive feedback was super encouraging, especially with the virtual reality part. It's still under development but we already have requests coming in via phone calls.

We're working on an all inclusive system that would house travels and tours companies, allow people to explore several places and AI to find them the very best best deals at the most convenient times.

I'm super excited about this industry and it's potential, and I'm grateful for the possibilities tech has enabled us to tap into.

Happy world tourism day.

Nigerians go to Rwanda, Kenya and South Africa for tourism also.

Your idea and hope for a tourism industry that targets Nigerians is, to me, redemptive. This is since, ordinarily, I have never regarded African nations known for tourism with envy. It always seemed, somehow, efforts invested in attracting Europeans and facilitating their satisfaction and pleasures conversely demeans the natives' and somehow infects them with the peculiarities inherent in Western bigotry. It mightn't be too bad for Africa if the natives of the relevant tourist African nations then kept the learned self-hate to themselves, unfortunately, they export it as exemplified by growing attacks on Nigeria on the internet by Kenyans. Specialising in servicing Westerners not only leads to a side trade in bleeped daughters it leads to bleeped minds - if you'll pardon the vulgarity.

Check out hotels ng page which has a detailed information of cost of visiting obudu cattle ranch. You should be able to get a hotel discount considering the number of days you plan on staying there.
