President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress scored a total of 505,827 votes in Edo State during the direct presidential primary conducted across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.
Governor Godwin Obaseki, who was the returning officer, declared the direct primaries result on Saturday in Benin at the party’s secretariat.

Obaseki, who was represented by his Deputy, Philip Shaibu, said a copy of the result would be sent to Abuja for final collation.

He thanked the people of the state for coming out en masse to vote for Buhari, saying the election was violence free.

He urged party members to ensure they cast their votes for President Buhari during the 2019 general elections.

The governor said the high number of votes showed that Edo State is an APC state

I don't see how PDP can stop PMB in 2019.

The fact is that most of figures returned from the states are way below what APC is capable of garnering in 2019 election. Many APC registered members didn't partake in this primary for the fact that it's a foregone conclusion. If this was a real contest, we could have seen over 4 million votes in Kano alone.

Buhari got over 35% of Edo State vote in 2015, this time around the only people that will vote him are Oshiomole and his agbero family, the Obasekis are too intelligent to vote him, even the governor will not vote Buhari in the presidential election.
