Sound engineering. Nigerians fail at this part a lot. Nobody likes going for an event which they’ll face partial hearing loss for two weeks after.
Employ the use of multiple speakers when necessary, the more the better. One speaker no matter how loud it sounds is never enough. The sound should come out loud but also natural, like how movies in cinemas never give discomfort despite being loud.
Employ sound engineers to test out equipment and sound levels before the show begins. They exist here but people hate using them because of the extra cost.

Venue. The bigger the better.
Then again independent artists with mellow sounding songs prefer a smaller audience they can bond with. Think Asa, Brymo, Simi and Aramide.
If working with Davido, Tekno, P-Square or other big name artists with music people dance to then a huge spacious venue is paramount.

Crowd control. Don’t assume because your venue is big the crowd will control themselves. No way, humans love being led.
Without someone leading them the crowd will devolve into chaos. It’s a natural phenomenon so hire people whose job is to direct crowds, reminding them that VIP areas are designated only for those who paid the specific amount.
They should also ensure to stay around to guide patrons who need directions to restrooms.

Exits. Make sure there are at least four exits in your venue. One can never know when emergencies may happen. A huge crowd running for one or two exits is never a fun thing to experience. Your crowd control crew should keep all exit positions in mind and learn to break down huge crowds of people into smaller groups.

Security. Bouncers. There isn’t much to state here because Nigerians handle this part well.
Their work is to ensure only a particular looking crowd is allowed and a dress code is maintained.

Drinks and refreshment. Another aspect Nigerians are good at.

Those are the aspects I could think of. An experienced events manager should fill in the rest.
