An upgrade is when a particular components is installed into a computer to enhance and improve its performance. An upgrade often means that already installed components in the computer is out of grade or weak, thereby slowing down your computer system which as a result will push your computer to malfunctioned in a more critical cases, in this veins the components or the software is to be replaced with new one with higher rates of specification.

Remember, the upgrade in a computer system will sometimes add to the existing components or software. For example, an upgrade of memory stick (RAM) may be fitted into another socket provided to add to the existing memory stick.
