Missing General: Army Allegedly Occupy Jos, Arrest 200 in Community Clamp Down

The Nigerian Army on Wednesday cordoned off Dura Du community in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, where the car of a missing general, Muhammed Alkali, was recently found in a pond. The army also arrested some suspects.
The operation began in the early hours of Wednesday.

We had reported how the car of the missing general was found in the community’s pond after some residents earlier tried unsuccessfully to stop the draining of the pond by military personnel.
A blood-stained T-shirt and a boxer short believed to belong to the general were found in the car on Saturday.
The major general was declared missing since September 3, when he was travelling from Abuja to Bauchi.

Just this early morning 19 people were killed in their sleep in the same plateau state by herdsmen who have not been arrested not to talk of being held accountable and punished but not as much as a comment from the army in charge of keeping the peace and security in troubled plateau state but one general is dead and they are disturbing the peace of nigeria.
This scenario is so annoying.
Believe it or not the people are so disenfranchised with the military and the military is becoming more and more the enemy with every passing day a time will come that the people will take up arms against the military and even against the government they must tread carefully not to offend the sensibilities of citizens. Fear will eventually turn to anger and an angry man will fight it is the same death anyway

The army has lost its sense of right and wrong .
