Change of Ownership with Existing Plate number
When you sell you vehicle, the plate number is yours forever (as in your property).
You are expected to remove your plate number and keep the original papers while you handover photocopies of the papers to the new buyer. He need the copies to process change of ownership.

HOW TO DETECT FAKE VEHICLE PARTICULARS.
There are lots and lots of unscrupulous elements that defraud unsuspecting members of the public by processing fake documents that are not in the government records. I encounter at least one new case every week of fake documents especially when people come to renew their documents in my office.
For a trained eye you can easily detect a fake documents but trust me, many cant even most police officers may not easily tell the difference. The VIOs and FRSC officials can tell a fake document easily and this has lead to several embarrassments. |

What is Comprehensive Insurance
Comprehensive insurance is a type of automobile insurance that covers damage to your car from causes other than a collision. HOW TO DETECT FAKE VEHICLE PARTICULARS.
There are lots and lots of unscrupulous elements that defraud unsuspecting members of the public by processing fake documents that are not in the government records. I encounter at least one new case every week of fake documents especially when people come to renew their documents in my office.
For a trained eye you can easily detect a fake documents but trust me, many cant even most police officers may not easily tell the difference. The VIOs and FRSC officials can tell a fake document easily and this has lead to several embarrassments. |
