Comparing online communication and exchanges with what obtains in other climes, Nigerians especially on Nairaland appear to be constantly angry.

They often need no provoking before they get so abusive. And this seems to contradict the report that would make us believe that Nigerians are some of the world happiest people.

Is there a reason that we are always so angry, and constantly attacking each other?

If this place could outsource moderation to Reddit this forum will become enviable. The only problem is the highlighted and viewable responses to threads will top out at twenty at most per topic.
Everyone seems angry here because there is no filter on how they should conduct themselves. Add anonymity and people can rant as much as they want without consequence -- apart from their comments getting deleted in some cases. Bans mean nothing as they can quickly open a new account and resume from where they stopped.
