PDP Heavy weights were dead set that victory was all for Tambuwal, including Wike, Okowa, secondus and all others. But what these novice fail to understand is Atiku is an executive founding member of PDP and going by his political antecedent, he almost defeated MKO Abiola. In fact Atiku had to step down for Abiola after plea from Abiola camp and international community not to go into run-off; it was evident Atiku will beat him in a run off. So this guy Atiku has been in politics for over 4 decades...40 yrs. Remember Atiku sent fear through Obasanjo's spine when he almost contested against him in the primaries; he was begged not to. Obasanjo never forgave him for making him beg him in public and gathering of other party executives, to show you how powerful he was.

Back to my point, Atiku still had primary and secondary contacts of most of the delegates that voted yesterday. In fact he know these delegates and all of the inner working on how to woo them, including special contacts how to get them, e.t.c. While Wike and Tambuwal were foolishly thinking they got this victory, Atiku was underground, talking to these delegates, spending time with their handlers at grassroots level. Some of these handlers you will never know unless you are/were an executive founding member of PDP.
