One thing I love about Burna Boy fans especially the ones on Nairaland is their loyalty; the way they sing his praises is quite different from the regular WizKid and Davido fans. It's like a cult. Can't really explain it but when they're done talking about Burna, you have no option than to go and get his songs. I respect them for this.

I saw burna boys picture as a cultists and he does not deny it. He smokes knowing that there are several disadvantages of smoking. His brand is a very negative influence on people. These people he influences do not see him as just an artist but someone they hold his very words and lifestyle as the way to go. The problem with the double lives many artists have is that they are not the same person on and off the stage. Many don't allow their own kids listen or watch their music. They are grooming their children for a decent life. Even Dr dre said when he started making money he moved out of the ghetto so he could give his family a better life. Whereas many of their fans still preach ghetto and live there. They have no ambitions and do not seek in any way to improve their lives. The same confra boys we hate and condemn is who burna boy and davido are and no one condemns their involvement in cultism. Cultists either kill, maim or sponsor killings. There is no brotherhood in it. They have foot soldiers who are dispensable to them. Burna boy sent boys to ruffle another musician and the police treated his case with kids groove and let him go. So also Davido and his Tagbo matter. When people do not have the kind of influence (not even money) these people have (davido, burna boy and co have) they blindly follow their lifestyles and are destroyed. Don't be deceived smoking and cultism coupled with the lifestyles many of these musicians portray home and abroad are destructive for the general public. Decent living is the way. Jay z as he is can enter into the corporate world cause he kept himself from tattoos, funny hair styles and piercings. Madonna's children are growing into ladies because she didn't allow them watch her music videos. Wizkid is not facing prosecution by any family court over any child support issue because he has an international brand Nigeria wants to leverage on. But go to any magistrate or family court in Nigeria and you'd see how many women are dragging baby daddies to court over chop money. Cause they thought baby mama was the way to go. Gold digging girls following the lifestyles of those celebrities baby mama thinking they can get visa and ticket to Atlanta. We celebrate these so called celebrities irrespective of their lifestyles and wrong choices. In doing so, we encourage them to continue. I remember when Wizkid had his 1st child, he apologied to his fans for letting them down in impregnating a girl out of wedlock. Tuface was pressurised into marrying at least one of his baby mamas because he was to be made ambassador of a couple of brands. Now see the accord and gifts he got even from Akpabio just because he married. Who give Banky with prado as gift? Because he had no baggage to massage. So people think controversy pays.
