By Musa Abdullahi Krishi

Senator Biodun Olujimi (PDP, Ekiti) has taken over the seat of erstwhile Minority Leader in the Senate, Godswill Akpabio.

Akpabio, who was the minority leader defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in August.

Olujimi had been the deputy minority whip.

Since Akpabio’s departure to the APC, his position became vacant, although the Senate had been on recess until its resumption yesterday.

At the resumption of plenary, Olujimi was seen occupying Akpabio’s seat, a development that gave credence to speculations that she was nominated to take over as minority leader.

However, there was no formal announcement confirming her as the new minority leader.

Nice move, minority leader, Senate President, deputy Senate president, house of rep speaker all PDP, just because buhari can't control his vindictive tendency, same tendency that got him thrown out of goverment in the 80s and jailed for 3 and half years. After hell rufai leaked their confidential memo on their plan using #400m to recall shehu sani(while going about laughing with him), I can only imagine how much was spent to recall dino

Anger could destroy a man. It's about to destroy the former pdp senator. He has labored for the party. Just a little patience would have sealed his effort with success.

PDP compensates SW with Majority leader while SW votes Atiku+SE ticket. Nice one from PDP.

Hope SW won't shoot themselves in the foot like they did when they voted against PDP mulikat Adeola's speakership of House of reps on the orders of tinubu.

I thought you went to the university and you are lettered. it is not about the party. it's all about the candidates. APC and PDP can both perform better if they insist on competent leadership.

If APC is bringing out Osinbajo alone and not Buhari, Nigerians will support APC massively to the extent Atiku will be ashamed to come out.

But this baba is not competent to handle the economy
