queensera:
A cabby had his hand broken with a gun by a policeman trying to extort him, today, at Wuse market, Abuja.

The victim had been falsely accused of wrong parking and the officers wanted to drag him to their station, but the man knew their antics and challenged them.

They then tried removing his number plate, again he prevented them. Angered by his resistance, one of the policemen then hit him hard with his gun, leaving his hand fractured.

Undeterred by the intimidation, the driver raised an alarm and passersby started forming a mob. Sensing that the matter was escalating, the officers immediately fled the scene.
