It is obvious people like Oyedepo, who involve in politics do so because of what they can get from politicians.

Where it even possible, someone like Oyedepo won't even mind contesting for political office. The man's long throat long pass pinocchio nose when him lie.

Thief.
There no message Oyedepo is preaching that violates his constitutional rights. By the way, Muslims directly instruct followers to vote only a fellow muslim every election and Osinbajo is a religious leader so what is the insecure Buhari talking about?

One thing I respect this man called Buhari for is that he doesn't talk much..but when he talks, he says it as it is.
This man won't play politics with words. He is the only Nigerian leader who can say to an angry lion ready to devour him that it's hair is bushy..

Oyedepo and co will involve themselves in partisan politics just to get Buhari out because of dwindling tithes and offerings in their churches.

Like Buhari said, Religious leaders should not be seen to involve themselves in partisan politics or political controversies, otherwise they risk losing their status and public respect.

Buhari is very right church must not play partisan politics however he shud have said this when he was contesting in 2015 also. He wud have earned everyone’s respect not now when he’s speaking out of insecurity.

As much as President Mohammed Buhari has this admonition
for religious and traditional leaders and the entire nation, it is
clear and obvious that religion is a subset of the political
atmosphere of every society, either directly or indirectly.

This is especially so as the members of every religious group
are citizens of the nation whose basic need is to have a government
who caters and care and provide the basic essentials of good gov-
ernance. Many Nigerian citizens turn to churches, mosques and traditionalists
owing to severe disappointment they have suffered from successive
governments who failed to provide basic amenities which they today seek
from God in churches, mosques and traditionalists.

To this end, in developed climes, patroitism to the government comes
before religion as the government has made the the wellbeing and welfare
of the citizens a major priority.

If President Buhari' government provides basic ammenities
of steady power supply, employment, quality accessible and affordable
health facilities, good roads amongst others, there will be little or
nothing any religious leader could do to misadvice or convince their teeming members
against the government.

PMB' giant stride in the area of blocking politicians, government workers
and their cronies'access to public fund is commendable but more is expected
eyond that as Nigerians are hungry and starved of the good things a responsive
government should provide.

VOTE A NEW NIGERIA WHERE THINGS WILL BE EASY

Same with Muslims. However, Muslims don't preach prosperity as a means of milking their congregation, do they?

Or do Muslim clerics visit politicians just to collect large sums of money?

To this Dullard, Osinbajo doesn't count as a religious Leader. Guy is beyond Lifeless.

Because election is fast approaching he is now coming close to men of God. Who doesn't know that Buhari hate Christian s . he always use Christian as his running mate. But this trick Will not work this time. I have given my support to Atiku by the special grace of God he is beating buhari hands down. That's how it has been since 1999. Even if the whole men of God endorsed him, it will not still make it. I supported him last time and now I have turned my back behind him. Please bookmark this Page.

Christians preach tithe bexuase God commands it and it is logical but can you compare that to Muslims who leave everything to fate and preach contentment but end up using the government money to buy salah/ramadam ram and taking over the govt with mob-like sharia rules?

What you are celebrating is called HYPOCRISY! PMB has courses religious leaders more than any other president. PMB in 2014 was in RCCG with Adeboye . His VP is a pastor . In 2011 his VP was also a pastor ..Tunde Bakare
PMB is hypocrisy typified

kumuyi isn't as avaricious like Oyedepo. Oyedepo have shown his love for money rival his love for the gospel. But still, I believe pastors shouldn't have anything to do with politics.

seriously with all the money they say the pastor has got plus private jets ....u still think he's there to scramble for politicians peanuts.....how many of oyedepo's church members can he canvass to vote...........politics in a game of numbers and a lot of rigging in Nigeria...which o the two can oyedepo do for him.......??
