President Muhammadu Buhari, on Saturday reminded members of the Armed Forces to protect Nigeria’s democracy and subject themselves to civil authorities.

The President gave the charge at the pipping of the 65th regular cadets of the Nigeria Air Force held at Military Training Centre, NAF Base, Kaduna.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that Buhari was represented by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Sadiq Abubakar.

“You must subordinate yourself to civil authorities and protect our growing democracy.

“Also, you should be vigilant and guard your utterances and conducts at all times.

“You should always remember that good civil-military relations is key to addressing some of our national security challenges.

Abubakar stated, “You must therefore guard against overzealousness and resist the temptation to brutalise the civil populace.

“Your duty is to protect all Nigerians, irrespective of their ethnic background or religious inclination.”

He cautioned the cadets against succumbing to any inducement or acts that could cause disaffection among members of the Armed Forces.

“You must protect the Nigerian Constitution while remaining absolutely loyal to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he added.

Buhari commended the leadership of NAF for providing specialised training fo the cadets, the first time in the recent past.

“Your duty is to protect all Nigerians, irrespective of their ethnic background or religious inclination.”

Yeah before 2015 and you assuming power.

Buhari had the clout to Unite Nigeria 2015, he chose a different route, SE/SS were all in for Osibanjo and even fought for his attaining power on Buhari's travels, its just a pity Buhari reverses all the professors decisions directly or indirectly as soon as he returns..

Now they are marketing with his name and even excluding Buhari that never took his decisions sacrosanct.

If u put two new batteries(Atikuobi)in your radio it performs at optimum level, but if u mix a dead battery with a good battery (BuhariOsinbajo) it will under perform than even one battery
