Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have announced they are expecting their first child together on the first day of their Royal Tour.

The couples were “very pleased” to reveal their “happy” news, Kensington Palace said in a statement this morning.

The couple’s baby is expected to be born next Spring.

The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to all be “delighted” for them.
