Try read the court order and not the headline. APC National Body cannot even submit the so called list of Consensus Candidates
It is a script been played out like "Basi & Company"when Apc Zamfara State come to an amicable agreement the Judge having collected their own entitlement for the sake of Democrazy will order INEC to immediately recognize their conensus candidate or be in contempt of Court and INEC will gladly oblige.

The High Court and tribunals have been given unprecedented powers when it comes to election matters via the provisions of The Constitution of The Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (As Amended).

INEC did not disqualify any candidate ...INEC only said Apc did not conduct primaries and did not submit candidates ..the candidates in INEC position are not disqualified, they don't just exist.

This injunction is actually to APC national that disqualified some aspirants after their screening exercise

angry Interestingly you need serious ORIENTATION on court processes.
One lifeless dusty Zanfara court grin grin grin grin
For someone talking of orientation One would have thought you knew better?A dusty High Court in a village in Zamfara State has the same powers as a 21st century state of the art Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Zamfara election matters. Go and read the Constitution of The Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (As Amended) and we all know the provisions of the Constitution is cardinal.

Re: Court Stops INEC, APC From Disqualifying Zamfara Candidates by khallyberry: 6:50pm On Oct 16, 2018
I think there is a misconception about this news... This interim order is basically for the party APC who disqualified its candidate. Inec never disqualified anybody rather stopped them from presenting any Candidate.

Any judge can issue an interim injunction before setting a date to hear from parties. It's normal. At the end, INEX will most likely still have its way.

Yes, its only an injunction; however, INEC is apparently exceeding its powers as an arbitrator and delving into the internal affairs of a party; it is not constitutionally qualified to make such declaration until the deadline for submission of the names of aspirants has expired and only if the party had failed to do so.

In PDP 's 16 Years of misrule, did INEC disqualify any of their candidates?
In 16 yes of PDP rule did PDP ever failed to produce her candidates even if by elections, selection, impisition, concensus or whatever within the stipulated time?,by the electoral law provisions whatever ever method a party wishes to produce her candidates INEC has to be aware n it must be done within a stipulated time,APC failed to do this in zamfara hence the rightful decision of INEC but since the case is now in court let's wait the outcome even though buhari/APC are not known to respect court rulings.

How easy it is for you to argue online. The case does more harm to APC than good.

I even doubt if the state High Court has jurisdiction against INEC.

APC should forget about Zamfara.
