Unlike other tribes, why do Igbos and Yoruba fancy giving a single name to both genders? It defeats the purpose, because names are supposed to be gender-sensitive.

Examples Shola, Bola, Ayo, Ade (almost all names beginning with "Ade" are answered by both male and females).
For Igbos: Uche, and names that end with "Chukwu".

Most Yoruba names are by their meaning unisex.
