*** WHAT IS IN YOUR MIND

The difference between two persons is their minds. The ability of one person to excel in a career or business in which others are involved is, to a large extent, their minds set. It is the mind that takes you beyond where you are and makes you see yourself some years ahead. It is also the mind that takes you backwards and makes you see yourself many years behind.

The Scripture tells us in PHILLIPIANS 2:5-11 thus; “LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU WHICH WAS ALSO IN CHRIST JESUS: WHO, BEING IN THE FORM OF GOD< THOUGHT IT NOT ROBBERY TO BE EQUAL WITH GOD: BUT MADE HIMSELF OF NO REPUTATION< AND TOOK UPON HIM THE FORM OF A ASERAVNT, AND WAS MADE IN THE LIKENESS OF MEN: AND BEING FOUND IN FASHION AS A MAN, HE HUMBLED HIMSELF AND BECAME OBEDIENT UNTO DEATH, EVEN THE DEATH OF THE CROSS. WHEREFORE GOD ALSO HATH HIGHLY EXALTED HIM, AND GIVEN HIM A ANME WHICH IS ABOVE EVERY NAME; THAT AT THE NAME OF JESUS EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW, OF THINGS IN HEAVEN, AND THINGS IN EARTH AND THINGS UNDER THE EARTH; AND THAT EVERY TONGUE SHOULD CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER.”

What the above Scripture tells us is that we must possess the mind that was in Christ Jesus, purpose and humility. It was the mind of purpose and humility that elevated Him to the right hand of the throne of God which makes it possible for everything to bow before Him, at the mention of His name.

Please my brethren, I plead with you, set your mind on things that are useful, things that are enabling, things that make you great, things that uplifts your spirit, things that makes you outstanding, things that edifies. That is how the Whitemen live their lives; life of creativity; thinking out how to solve human problems not how to create problems for others, how to demoralize others, how to bewitch other, how to destroy or steal others gift/talents, or how to bring others down.

Engage your mind in critical and creative thinking by setting aside some times of the day to think, preferably in the night when there is silence everywhere and little to distract you. It is such thought that produce the best result. It also helps you to pray effectively and receives answers. Be careful because, what you plant will always determine what you produce and that also becomes the architect of your life. Get rid or uproot dangerous thoughts that defraud you of progress and purpose.

Do not allow your mind to be filled with filthy things like pornography, immoral movies, unhealthy thoughts, voodoo films, violent acts, etc. All these have a way of sinking into our subconscious and make our minds to be filled with things that are not Christ like…SHALOM!!!
