The member representing Ovia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Barrister Omosede Igbinedion, has been described as God sent to the people of Ovia in view of her efficient representation at the National Assembly.

Women from Ovia Federal Constituency gave the commendation during an empowerment programme organized by the Federal lawmaker.

Omosede Igbinedion who told the women that Governance is all about service to the people and uplifting them out of poverty said the federal government earlier promised these women through a scheme a financial grant of N50,000 each to enable them expand on their trade but since the federal government was not forthcoming in redeeming their pledge she decided to do the needful to alleviate the current economic crisis affecting these women and traders by using her own resources in fulfilling the failed promise of the federal government.

She insisted that her primary responsibility as the people’s Representative is the empowering of women and youth as well as attracting federal government presence to Ovia .

She presented the cash gifts to the women who could not hide their excitement and danced all day in appreciation of the wonderful initiative.

Speaking with reporters some of the beneficiaries thanked Barrister Omosede and prayed to God to continue to give her the resources to keep impacting on the lives of the people.

They called on her not to relent in her efforts in developing Ovia Federal Constituency while assuring her of their vote in next year general elections.
