When Peter Obi then Governor of Anambra state served quit notice to Northern Goat dealers, Arewa parks, Osogbo park, Akure park, Ilorin park, Arewa Onion dealers, Yoruba and Hausa kola nut dealers etc to vacate the Bridge head area where they had been operating from since 1977 and the yland belongs to the Federal government.

The Sultan Muhammad Saad and Etsu Nupe visited the area together with Gov Peter Obi and GOC 82 Div Enugu and other senior officers. The Sultan pleaded with him to rescind that obnoxious decision but he refused and went ahead and chased them out of the land. In the process he demolished seven mosques. Even a Yoruba cleric who leads prayers at Uga street mosque fegge where the former Governor of kogi Alhaji Ibrahim Idris was born met with Alhaji Usman Shamsuddeen a former minister in Umrah that year and complained to him the discriminating attitude of Gov Obi.

Alhaji Usman assured the yoruba cleric that he would call Peter Obi as he was his friend in banking industry when Alhaji Usman was in CBN. When Alhaji Usman put a call to Peter Obi from Saudi Arabia to talk to him over the plight of Northerners and other non igbos in his state. Gov Obi reached out to president Jonathan to sack Alhaji Usman Shamsuddeen. That according to Peter Obi that was their government and their time.

A religious fanatic like Peter Obi is not fit for public office let alone the position of VP. Say No to Atiku and Peter Obi. Stop the entrenchment of extremist Xtianity. Say No to religious bigotry. Stop Peter Obi before he becomes full-blown crusader!

It will be hard selling Obi as a unifying factor not only to the North but even to the South West, we all will remember how he instigated hatred against Yoruba people by sensationalizing Fashola’s innocent action when he repatriated beggars on the street of Lagos and handed them over to their state governments. There are more beggars of Northern origin in Lagos than there are from the South East, not a single Northern Governor accused Fashola of any discrimination or incited hatred against Yoruba people.

Go and die

Peter Obi diverted public funds meant for the running of state to churches and church owned businesses.In his view,churches utilize funds better than public offices. And I ask, wasn't he incharge of the running of the state? Doesn't he have auditors,commissioners and so one who see that public funds aren't diverted? The thing is you can't be corrupt and expect people who are under you not to benefit from the national cake. He is very selfish and hard hearted(Okwute ndi Igbo) as he is called.


Anyway, even though I don't like the combination of Atiku and Obi, I would want to see any other person aside from Buhari and his Cohorts. He is'nt different from what we have had in the past. Left for me,I would prefer Donald Duke but hey,it is Africa,worse of Nigeria so I should'nt keep my hopes high.
