All of the prophets of God were perfect men, human beings. They attained perfection by living their lives in continuous submission and obedience to the teachings and commandments of YHWH, the Law of Moses, the standard by which perfection was judged for them. In the New Testament, we are informed of people like John the Baptist, Zechariah, his wife Elizabeth, Joseph the Carpenter, Mary his wife, Anna the prophet, and Joseph of Arimathea, all individuals who equally gained perfection by way of the following of the Old Law of Moses. Human beings can become holy by submitting to God's mandate of obedience to His Law.

The same God is recorded to have then commanded His people to obey His Son, Jesus Christ, His new Law and mandate in the Kingdom of God. Jesus Christ in His sermons insisted that it is only through continuous submission and obedience to His teachings and commandments of God, the Gospel, and Truth in the Kingdom of God, that one can be set free from slavery to sin — Holiness/Perfection— and be transformed into a child of God. So, even in the Kingdom of God, perfection(holiness) and God's Righteousness are very much possible.

The word translated to "PERFECT" means to be HOLY just like the Creator this simply means a man can be perfect but perfection doesn't mean fault finders won't have something to say against the perfect person.

Fault finders will surely have something to say against a perfect person but they can never ever find a replacement for what is perfect.
Take for instance there are atheists and agnostics today do you know why? These folks keep looking for excuses not to believe in the existence of God that's why they're saying many things to discourage themselves but then they have forgotten that even among us we have those we take orders from because they have forced themselves on us using weapons so if they are obedient willingly or grudgingly before their fellow humans it's enough to tell them that there is One who is truly SUPREME whose authority is above even human rulers who have made themselves like God's. Psalms 82:1, 6
So when God said we must be perfect just like Him it doesn't mean fault finders won't have what to complain about but they can't find a better replacement for what God has made perfect.
