So I decided to read the proclamation again. It says “entry as immigrants” I know for sure that someone with a K1 visa doesn’t enter as an immigrant. However only God knows how this will be construed.

For citizens of the countries affected by the recent travel ban, only immigrant visas are affected. K1 is a nonimmigrant visa, therefore not affected as in the case of Burma

This is from Ustraveldoc website! It clearly states that K-1 visa is a non immigrant visa� Remember,some people might get to America and decide not to marry their finances anymore! You don't pay any additional amount for the EAD. The $1225 for the AOS is all you need to pay. The EAD and AP is free when you file all 3 together.

Just file your Form I-485 (Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status), Form I-765 (Application for Employment Authorization) and Form I-131 (Application for Travel Document) together.

The code for employment authorization card is C9 because you are filing it with AoS, don’t forget that.

The earlier you start the process, the better for you cus its a long journey ahead. The ban must have been lifted before you get to the stage of interview( i.e if the ban is gonna affect K1 for Nigerians as we're hoping to get news from them asap).
