FOR THE RECORDS!

In less than 2years, the Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, administration has shown total commitment to the welfare of the state workforce. On assumption of Office, Governor Akeredolu had promised that his government will not owe workers' salary. Since February 2017 when he assumed office, his administration has been loyal to the promise.

- Despite the glaring economic crunch in the country, Governor Akeredolu administration has been paying workers' salary regularly.

- Offset four of the seven months arrears inherited from the immediate past administration with acknowledgment of arrears of 20% for October 2016.

- In December, 2017, Governor Akeredolu approved over 30 billion naira for payment of salaries, pension, gratuity and arrears.

- Priotizes promotion of civil servants including the injection of over 50 administrative staff into the civil service.

- Monthly payment of the sum of two hundred million naira to offset outstanding gratuities owed retired workers.

- Prompt release of the 2017 promotion letters to deserving workers.

- Promotion of one thousand and eight hundred (1,800) primary school teachers in the state.

- Appointed new Permanent Secretaries based on merit without the obnoxious practice which viewed all serious issues from the prism of ethnicity, religion and politics.

The fact herein is that Governor Akeredolu places premium on the welfare of the workers. No matter what anybody says, he's progressing at his service to redeem the state.

The man has failed to pay gratuity for the retirees.


I am from the sunshine state

Actually, these are not achievements, not that am condemning it but government is a continuum so he just did what ought to have been done.
Achievements should be putting solid infrastructures inplace.
