I added a few locations to Google map & they sent me a request to join their group & get rewarded.. Pls, how does it work?

I'm not sure there's any real reward. Was updating the locations of places I've been to in Jos and my rank kept rising with nothing to show for it. I'm still on it though, and I'll follow this thread in case you find answers wink

But don't get your hopes high.

They reward you by inviting you for meet ups and summits yearly, but you must have reached a particular level in the map google before you can be qualified. Example, you must have held 2 to 3 photo walks. For now information visit maps.google.com/localguides
