APC, master of hate speech!

They did it a lot during Jonathan's regime to the extent that Lying Mohammed and his people vowed to form a parallel government if they did not win in 2015. Can PDP do that to them now? They are not ready to take.

Guy stop the lies.

Before PMB came to power we had 16 years of PDP rule , Obj that was expected to be our Mandela was busy doing Zaki Biam, 3rd term and Looting. For 8 years of power. Oga GEJ the clueless called PMB all sort of names by his campaign organization for 6 years. GEJ looted,empowered Boko haram, militants for 6 years.
PMB is expected to become Mandela in 4 years out of the blue ?. It takes time for PMB to become Mandela for Nigeria is not south Africa
just wasted space typing rubbish

I am sorry to say but the atmosphere of hate in this country was championed by the APC and this administration. I remember prior to the 2015 elections, the APC insulted, ridiculed, beguiled and castigated Jonathan and his administration. They even threatened to drown anybody against their views, also to set up a parallel Govt should Jonathan win the election. They didn't factor the hate they were spreading, they fought so dirty to get into power.

It didn't even stop there. They got into power and their sole aim was ridiculing those that didn't support them, terming everybody complaining of their bad policies and blame game, wailers. Oga Buhari even crowned it all by his 97, 5% speech.

Igbos and their call for Biafra and counter hatred was as a result of tauntings and calculated actions against them as a result of their decision in 2015. Oga Buhari's fall in line or be killed mode of leadership worsened the entire matter; sending soldiers to a peaceful region, murdering young boys while some people cheered him on and are still cheering him.

Sometimes I wonder why do good..?? When the world will neither learn from it or envy it. See people like Nelson Mandela, a man that spent 27 years in jail, came out.. called on everyone, the oppressors and the oppressed to come together, to forget their grievances and work together for their country. But here it is "remember its 97% and 5%" and some people cheer it on.

Election is around the corner again. I call on we all Nigerians to put aside our differences and peacefully support our candidates. No need for name calling, No need for insults, No need for spreading hate. 2019 will come and go and we all go dey.

#CampaignNotHate!

Tell that to your 'Lefellendum or no Erection' supporters who dwell on all sorts of insults, hate speech and fake news.

@POLITICSNGR

The Spokesman for the Atiku Campaign, Mr. Segun Showunmi has released a statement regarding a song released by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC titled 'Atiku is a thief'.

The Statement read;

We need to restate as directed by His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, Presidential Candidate of The PDP that the 2019 election should be issue based, deviod of slandering and name calling.

We hold the view that unguarded narrative hurts the country and further divides us as a people.

Some of the consequences of previous mismanaged campaign efforts is perhaps the reason why their is little or no internal cohesion with its attendant security challenges.

Elections comes every 4 years in our country and if great effort is not taken, we could hurt the country and its people needlessly and invariably our democracy.

We have to sign up to these ideals, we can campaign without recourse to hate speech, liabel, lies, undue criminalization of people and each other.

On our part we have signed up to running an issue based campaign and if it is not too hard for the Muhammad Buhari administration and the APC to understand, we call on you to do the same.

There is greater value in doing so. Nigeria is the most populous black nation on earth and we owe it to ourselves and the black race to be above board.

We are trying to present our idea on how the country should be led and not interested in anything else. And by so doing, set Nigeria and its people on the path of working again.

I have never liked or supported APC and Buhari. I wasn't much keen about Atiku either. But this class act and response has won me over totally. This man, Atiku, his campaign team and PDP at large are light-years ahead of whatever APC and their figurehead can put forward

If it is about song PDP can easily arrange davido to release a full album against the hypocrite party but campaign should be issue based.

Apt response from atiku campaign group ,frustration is beginning to set in apc camp.

Only Dino can even give PDP a blockbuster.
Silly APC

Lol, when #PDP was using AIT to run full blown malicious slander against buhari and tinubu during last election it was ok abi?

If Atiku is not a thief he should sue na, at least jagaban sued AIT for billions and won... then like a father he forgave them
now this thief doesn't want to be called a thief grin

You should know better. If he sues now, he will loose. He comes across as smart (even though he has his shortcomings). Tinube did not sue Daar when GEJ was active, it was afterwards.

For whatever reason, this govt should have immediately ban the song if they were not aware but what do I know. But then, they keep waisting Nmillions on ads against #hatespeech. Producing a song calling Atiku thief in campaing is ABSOLUTELY WRONG. It may still be allowed if they use metaphor.

If its Falz now, they will quickly press the BAN IT button. What goes around comes around.
