THE BEAUTIFUL DATE

On a beautiful date
I met Ayomiposi at Lasu gate
Our meeting was by fate,
And this date was not too late

After the date, she accepted to be mine,
My heart was joyful and we celebrated with wine
She promised me that I will be fine,
That her love is from divine

Both of us are in love
Like two turtle Doves.

Hence, we call each other Beloved.

On a fateful day, I went to her house,
I met her wearing a blouse
And I came in unannounced,
Seeing her braless, I became scared like a Mouse.
