Gov. Udom, Obasanjo is not Our Friend...

In our short history as a state, few leaders have been as callous and wicked to us as a State as former president Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo gcfr

For eight years as the president of Nigeria, Obasanjo did not deem our state good enough to receieve any Federal project apart from the dilapidated Ibagwa Bridge in Abak.

Between 2000 and 2003, Obasanjo waged a personal war against Akwa Ibom State. Firstly, he introduced an onshore/ offshore oil ownership dichotomy and used that as a basis to remove Akwa Ibom from list of oil producers.

Gov Victor ATTAH questioned his powers to do such, so he seized our allocations and dared us to go to court.

TODAY he is in our state to drum support for a failed project.

Yes at Lagos

Obasanjo at 80s is still strong to move from place to place.

But Buhari is so weak to travel.

He only prefer overseas visit.

I'm not sure obasanjo can help anyone to win election in akwa ibom whether he's endorsing a pdp or Apc candidate. He's a zero player in akwa ibom politics.Udom should focus on his re-election on the home front and forget obj because he can't help me.
