Obasanjo said he joined the army in the mid 1950s and he needed to have at least a Cambridge certificate which is equivalent to SSCE to join at that time .
He also he said he didn’t know any officer that didn’t have that certificate that time too.
He went on , He said Buhari joined the Army 4 years after him . And he doesn’t see any way Buhari would have joined without having that Cambridge certificate.
Obasanjo also said , assuming Buhari even joined without such certificate.
He said Buhari went to military academy and went through what we call staff college which is equivalent to a Bachelor of science degree . He also said Buhari proceeded to war college in USA to study and obtained a certificate that is equivalent to a Masters degree .
He said instead of us to talk and debate on real issues , we have resorted to talking about trivialities .
