In response to these mentions saying it was “impossible” after I stated that a 20-foot python would easily swallow a grown man.

I usually don’t bother replying but I felt the need to address this misconception with facts and make it crystal clear to everyone that pythons can actually swallow a grown man without any issues.


Here’s a case of an Indonesian man last year that was swallowed by a 23-foot python in his farm. (VERY GRAPHIC). He was attacked on his farm & swallowed whole.

It was a full grown alligator.

This struggle lasted about 2 hours.

Ever hear of ANACONDAS?? these are powerful constrictors. A 12ft Anaconda can squeeze two grown men to death at the same time.
There is nothing as elastic as the mouth of a python or snakes.!
A 20ft python can swallow a full grown human with ease!

However, they become helpless and cannot move after swallowing a 'heavy meal'

That alligator is a very small one, Either a small specie or a baby alligator. Show me a video of a python swallowing a fully grown alligator or a video of a python that has already finished swallowing a fully grown alligator weighing 250kg den we will know whats up.

How pple stick to arguing blindy even in the face of many submitted facts just baffles me. A quick google search on this topic 4 years ago, revealed one thing, 'snakes swallowing human are extremely rare'. Rare doesn't equate impossible! And someone has graciously shared some of those rare cases, still this guy dey argue. On some of those links, zoologists, professors, ecologists didnt say it is impossible. Na one guy for 9ja dey here dey argue. The animal is evolving and overcompensating shikena. The only problem with swallowing a human years back was the non collapsible structure of the human shoulder. And yu have just seen a female and even a male human who were swallowed, meaning the creature has found a way around that, but you still say 'impossible'. Stay with a 20ft python and see what happens.
