This a noble call to awaken the governor on vital state assest that can boost the economy of the state thereby providing employment, they include but not limited to this. This great assest was established by his predecessor Rt Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, they as follows; SONGHAI RIVERS STATE INITIATIVE(SRIF) ,THis farm was established in partnership with songhai international centre porto novo. It is located in bunu in Tai local government area of rivers state. It combines livestock, Aquaculture and Agro tourism. When this farm is properly revitalized will create about 1000 job opportunities. The next on the list is the BUGUMA FISH FARM, which is located at Buguma the headquarters of Asari-Toru local government area. The farm is expected to produce about 1000tons of fish daily and was constructed by an israeli firm Onida international which cost about 1.5billion naira.
Governance is all about continuity and this farms if properly managed will change the fortune of Rivers state. The projects where completed and commissioned by his predecessor but never saw the light of the day when Gov. Wike took over the banton of governance.
