Former Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has been criticised by his Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos online.

Ramos has made it clear to the club's fans it is up to the players to turn around their shocking form which led to the sacking of Julen Lopetegui.

And before their Copa del Rey win over Melilla last night, the defender liked a post on Instagram written by a fan which criticised ex-Chelsea keeper Courtois along with Raphael Varane and Nacho

Part of the rant which Ramos appeared to agree with included:

"Why is Courtois our goalkeeper? I mean does he even know he is a goalkeeper or what? Useless.

"Awful defence, just horrible omg, Nacho's worst ever performance, Varane just didn't know what to do after becoming world champion."
