CHIMAMANDA NGOZI ADICHIE CONFERRED WITH HUMANITARIAN AWARD ON HUNGER

Award-winning Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has been conferred with a humanitarian award at the 2018 Action Against Hunger Gala.

Adichie was presented with the award by CEO of the organisation, Andrea Tamburini, in New York.

Speaking on the award, the international NGO said the acclaimed writer is among the large community of people who leverage their visibility and voices on behalf of others in the fight against hunger.

WAEC SCANDAL: EEDRIS ABDULKAREEM CALLS PRESIDENT BUHARI A SUCCESSFUL FRAUDSTER

Mr Lecturer hitmaker, Eedris Abdulkareem has aired his displeasure with President Muhammadu Buhari.

The veteran entertainer who took to his Instagram page to call out the Nigerian president described him as the “most successful fraudster in the history of Nigeria.”

Taking to his Instagram, he wrote; “Buhari is by far the most successful fraudster in the history of Nigeria. First, he was fraudulently enlisted into the Nigerian army. He fraudulently gained promotion that he wasn’t qualified for while in the army.

Barely few weeks after dropping his latest single “Blessings on Me” ace Nigerian singer and songwriter Reekado Banks has released both the short film and the music video for the song featuring Simi.

The 10-minute long short film follows the life of a young boy with humble beginnings and a family that couldn’t afford much, his mother helped him hone his football skills, which led to him getting scouted by a professional team.

Legendary Fuji Musician Adewale Ayuba has advised Nigerian youths to explore the therapeutic essence of music as it could heal emotional and psychological pains.

The Juju legend gave this advice during an interview with newsmen on Wednesday in Lagos.

According to him, music is spiritual as it ministers to the spirit and soul thereby rejuvenating mental health.
